Whacky Relay Wraps Humboldt Camp; Two Weeks 'til First Fall Practice Session

Competitors scarfed down delicious globs of sugar coated fried dough before sprinting 400m in the first ever Humboldt Running Camp doughnut relay. While official results were hard to come by, participants and spectators were unanimous in their approval of the event.

The whacky competition concluded 6 days of running paradise. Other highlights included spectacular views from the Patrick's Point cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, a mountain ascent in Elk River National Park, a memorable presentation from Dublin High's Chris Williams, and soft serve ice cream twice daily.

Campolindo participants also spent valuable time articulating season goals, reflecting on past running experiences, and competing with teammates in a variety of bonding activities.
