Varsity Championship FINALS RESULTS AT BOTTOM OF PAGE Jung Earns Second Triple Title; Murillo, Finnegan Top Stacked 3200 Field It didn't take long for Stacey Jung (08) to reclaim here league dominance in the triple jump. The 2006 champion soared to a season best 35-5.25 on her first attempt at Friday's DFAL Finals. The mark would hold up, earning the Junior star a third NCS Tri-Valley berth after qualification in both the vault and long jump at Wednesday's DFAL trials. The Cougar distance crew also enjoyed a banner day with five automatic qualifications, including an impressive one-two finish by Catherine Murillo (07) and Laurie Finnegan (08) in a loaded eight lap affair. After season best performances in the 1600m to start the day, the savvy veterans came from behind in the 3200m to upset title favorites. Other distance runners moving on are Joey Kochlacs (07) and Will Wheeler (07) in the boys' 1600m and Chris Harland-Dunaway (07) in the 800m. Daniel Murray (08) advanced in both the 400m and 200m while Paulina Inzerillo (08) picked up a fourth place to advance in Discus. Derick Kwong (07) heaved the shot 42 feet to advance as well.
