Cougars Score Sweep against Rival Mats; Perfect Scores for Junior Varsity, Varsity Boys, Six Individual Wins

With individual winners in every division, as well as a clean sweep of the team competition, the Cougars emerged from Wednesday's dual meet with an impressive domination of the rival Matadors.

Highlights included Jason Budge's (09) varsity boys' victory to lead a superb pack effort that had Campolindo harriers capture the first eight places for a perfect 15 to 50 team score. Also perfect were the junior varsity boys, made possible by Jarret Hendrickson (09), Max Bayuk (10), Doug Chudler (10), Grant Caldwell (10), and Austin Rosso's (10) first through fifth finish!

In the varsity girls' race it was first time three-miler Erin Ross (12) who stepped up her game to secure the hat trick for the Cougars. Meanwhile, as if risen up from the ashes like a phoenix, the frosh soph and junior varsity girls unleashed their best performance of the season, managing eleven athletes under 16:31 on the tough 2.15 mile course!
