Anderson Moves Up, Weberski Repeats at Annual HVP Orienteering Championships

Last year's runner up, Cale Anderson (24), benefitted from the experience as the senior topped the list of finishers at the 2023 edition of the Campo cross country orienteering championships held at Hidden Valley park on Saturday morning, October 7.

Anderson held off a challenge from fellow senior Joey Floyd (24) as well as junior Benoit Pelchat (25) to take the crown in unusually warm conditions.

The girls' field was once again dominated by Makena Weberski (24). The 2-time champion beat out a pair of sophomores, including last year's rookie winner, Libby Wong (26).

Amalia Contreras (27) and Anton Klisura (27) showed their navigational prowess to win the rookie girls' and rookie boys' divisions, respectively
