The distance ace even managed the 5th best shot put mark to help tally a miniscule 10 points, the lowest score ever recorded in the history of the event. Leach's closest challenge came from Juliet Arnswald (17), who scored 37 points and won the 300m in a fine time of 45.2. Niki Moore (17) narrowly out-muscled his rivals to claim the boys' overall title. After winning the long jump battle, the sophomore heaved the shot 35 feet to ensure victory over 300m champion Parker Lothamer (15) and a surprisingly consistent Jonathan Semenza (14). Though Semenza's best single event performance was a runner-up mark in the 1200m, his worst was a 6th place mark (out of 48 competitors) in the 300m. The most consistent rookie boy was Krish Visht (18), who scored 71 points. For the rookie girls, Clare Ahearn (17) posted an outstanding 41 points to finish 4th overall, and 1 point better than fellow rookie standout Bella Chao (18). Team
