February 23, 2018 Jeremy Ahn (18), Edward Buckley (19) and Ethan Sauerberg (18) swept the top 3 overall finishing spots at Friday's event testing. Ahn's winning score of 13 was 15 points ahead of Buckley and 23 points better than Sauerberg. The senior veteran placed among the top 10 in all 4 events. His long jump mark of 16-10 tied him with fellow veteran Krish Visht (18) for the event win. Of the rookie contenders, Shun Ishida (18) came out on top. The senior used a solid 300m sprint effort to gain the advantage over the next best newcomers, Alan Pierrat (21) and Juan-Pablo Garcia (21). In the girls' competition, junior Natalie Arnswald (19) proved her versatility by posting impressive performances across the board, including the top 300m sprint time and the top long jump mark. A single point separated Fiona Quimby (18) and Isabella Chao (18), who finished 2nd and 3rd, respectively. Helen Kaidanztis (21) finished 20 points ahead of her nearest rival in the rookie girls' standings. Jessica Rosiak (21) edged out Sydney Roberts (21) for runner-up honors. Team
